well i never have(worn them) cause is so hot here(Cd. Juarez Mexico) and the floor sometimes is colder...but now...I have a puppy indoors so it's kinda gross to step bare footed...but oh well bad habits die hard

I think it depends on the shoes,
dress shoes ~ yes
winter boots ~ no
slippers ~ yes
runners ~ sometimes
sandals ~ yes

It also depends on the season, I think outdoor shoes get worn indoors, more often in the summer, running in and out of the house more frequently to grab things for bar b ques, to get a drink etc.

U.K, I feel uncomfortable wearing my shoes inside since I sit lotus style but I can wear my shoes inside so long as it hasn't been wet outside and I'm just walking around my house.
